Eustis // Global Consumer Innovations, the company that invented the sandless sandbag, recently relocated into a 25,000-square-foot building in Eustis. The company consists of brothers Justin and Casey Holder, as well as Zach Railey.
Justin handles marketing, while Casey hails from a construction background with an engineering mind. The brothers already achieved successful innovation with their patented Cancap, a device that insulates recessed ceiling lights, saving money and providing fire protection.
The sandless sandbag is not new. They have been around for 20 years. The brothers perfected the product by creating a bag to hold water away from structures in an easier and less-time-consuming way and stay in place, unlike other sandless sandbags filled with super absorbent polymers that shift.
The brothers also developed a patented design called Deluge, comprised of six layers of fabric sewn together in a precise way to hold the polymers and water in a shape that stays in place. The product is biodegradable.
